BECOME A JUDGE AT
L'INTERNATIONAL DES FEUX LOTO-QUÉBEC
PRESENTED BY TELUS
La Ronde is now recruiting 19 people who would like to judge the Montreal’s International
Fireworks Competition, L'International des Feux Loto-Québec presented by TELUS.
If you are interested in being part of the panel that bestows the 2012 Jupiter Awards
to the top 3 contenders this year, we invite you to fill out the participation form
below. No previous experience required. Before entering, please consider these points:
- There are 8 fireworks evenings (from June 30th to July 31st)
and a Jupiter Awards Ceremony (August 3rd). Every judge is required
to attend all displays*, rain or shine. Should a judge be unable to attend one show,
he/she will automatically be excluded from the jury and all special privileges will
be withdrawn.
- Judges must attend a training session that will take place on June 16th, 2012.
- Judges must get to La Ronde by their own means.
- Judges do not receive a salary, but are compensated otherwise: with two tickets
for each fireworks show which includes a daily admission to La Ronde, free parking,
souvenir gifts and a visit to the launching ramps.
- This contest is open to people 18 years and over.
The contest begins May 1st and ends May 21st at midnight.
All participants will receive an answer by May 30th at the latest
Summer just wouldn’t be summer in Montreal without L'International des Feux Loto-Québec
presented by TELUS.
*Applicants must note that should weather conditions (or forecasts) indicate that
the spectators' safety may be at risk during the show, La Ronde ultimately reserves
the right to postpone the event to the following day at 10 p.m. In such a case,
jury members must be available under the same conditions.
